What do you make of Beauty – is it in the eye of the beholder?
Or is it just a reflection of something deeper that does smoulder?
How do you judge Beauty – is it by commercial standards?
Where images advise the outcome, and any deviation is reprimanded.
Have you seen a ‘real’ Beauty? – natural, not type cast.
Can you even recognise it, what it looks like when it lasts?
Or do you see Beauty as an aspiration you wish to achieve,
And when your efforts don’t obtain it – do you feel bereaved?
Do you see Beauty as just something that is physical?
Then you have been sold short on its true miracle.
Beauty is more than simply, a sight for sore eyes,
Beauty is an energy that can enchant and hypnotise.
Beauty is an offering and all senses receiving it are replete.
It is something that fills you up and leaves you in awe of its mystique.
This is why beauty is not only in the eye of the beholder,
It is a way of connecting to the soul that makes your fire smoulder.
